MC: When you get to do variety shows alone, doesn't it get tense between members? Or feel a bit sorry?
LT: This is the biggest worry for every idol. Like there are seasons to popularity, if a member starts his own activities, that member's exposure and popularity will rise, so the other members don't know whether this friend is tired or busy. LT: And most recently, we went on Inkigayo, and we got the Mutizen Song, and then the members... fought. And the next schedule was Dream Team. Eunhyuk and I had to go together.
EH: After we fought, we weren't even talking, and we even used different cars to get there - it was out of the province. Until we arrived there, we didn't say anything to each other. And - and it's like a program where you need to exercise, right? And about 40 to 50 new actors and singers went through intense training on the course for about 2 nights, 3 days, and -
LT: To beat Super Junior. [laugh]
EH: And they were supposed to compete with us.
MC: So the situation was one in which you had to band together.
LT: The situation was, first was Sungmin - Sungmin is really good at exercise - and Yesung would start off strong, then third and fourth were Shindong and me, we'd make it funny, then Donghae and Eunhyuk would finish off with a nice punctuation mark and we'd win. So we had that elaborate plan, but Sungmin was eliminated, Yesung was eliminated, and Shindong was eliminated - everyone was eliminated.
EH: Because the teamwork wasn't there.
LT: So I thought a lot about whether I was supposed to make it funny or if I was supposed to succeed. And I did it and I succeeded for the first time. So I went to Eunhyuk, and I said, "Eunhyuk, you can win." And so Eunhyuk went and won.
MC: Dream Team Ace (points to Eunhyuk's board, which says "Dream Team Ace")
EH: Yeah, I was the Dream Team Ace.

EH: As soon as I won, I felt tears come, actually.
MC: Because of the fight you had earlier.
EH: Yeah, the fight I had earlier - and when they asked me for a winning speech, I could only talk about the members. I won because of the members, and such. [laugh] And when you sweat together, exercise together and share heart together, I felt the thankfulness towards the members sweep over again.
MC: The fact that you cried means that Eunhyuk, you were the one that was involved in the fight.
EH: [flustered, hesitating] Yeah.

EH: It was Teukie hyung. [laugh]
LT: It wasn't a fight.
EH: We didn't actually fight.
LT: Actually, I yelled at the kids... really harshly.

LT: We're really good now.
EH: So the thing is, you can't bottle it up inside you. You have to fight and get it all out, and you need to exercise, or do something together to make it better. That's how the team can continue on rolling.
LT: Shindong['s snoring] is daebak.
EH: *laugh* It's no joke.
LT: When we were living in the small dorm.
EH: Oh, yeah.
LT: When it's noisy, I can't sleep. I can't even be listening to music when I sleep.

LT: Wow, the sound was so loud. And a while ago, we went down to - Changwon or something, right?

LT: When we went down at dawn, after radio was over.

Teuk’s talking about the Saipan trip he went on. Everything in quotations was said in English.
LT: There was a delay of about 4 hours in Japan. And so many people recognized us. We were taking a plane in Japan to go to Saipan, one of the officers on the plane - “You actor?”
“Ah, no.”
“You Japanese actor?”
“Ah, no.”
EH: But that means they didn’t recognize you!
LT: No, I wanted them to recognize me.
EH: XD
LT: “Nononono.”
“Oh, well, you’re very handsome!”
So I said, “Ah, thank you.”

LT: And so we had the food, and then we almost arrived, and the officer, he was a man, a big black gentleman, and as I was about go get off, he said, “Ah. You very well.”
EH: What - what “very well”? What did you do well?
LT: “Ah.. you’re… Saipan?” I don’t know exactly - but I understood. And when I understood, I wanted to talk! So I said, “Saipan first.”
EH: XD Oh, he asked whether it was your first time in Saipan.
LT: Yeah, I was telling him it was my first time, and he said Saipan was nice. He asked how we got there, so I said, “Um, New York, Madison Square Garden, and Japan, and Saipan.” “Wow! Madison Square Garden!”

LT: My English improved.
EH: Mine too. If you’re actually there, your English improves. I thought I needed to study more English, too, and -
LT: Eunhyuk, [in English] You English very well.

LT: I got off the plane. And I just ran to immigration, because I was so happy [to be back in Korea]. And when you do that, at immigration, the line is windy. There was no one else there, so I just ducked and passed under the barriers. The officer that was there was like, “HEY!” and started yelling at me in English!
EH: That’s so scary. It’s really scary.
LT: It’s scary!
EH: You feel like you’re going to be taken away.
LT: And I mean - wherever we go, people recognize us a lot, so it’s - a bit embarrassing, right?
